I am writing to keep you informed and up to date of any bubble closures within school.
Last night, a staff member from pink bubble has been asked to take a precautionary Coronavirus test this morning. We must stress that this is precautionary but even so, as our risk assessment states, we will be closing the pink bubble until further notice. As soon as the result is shared with us, we will let the parents of pink bubble know that they are able to return to school.
As a precautionary step we would ask that parents and household members of the pink bubble also self-isolate until the test result is known.
We have contacted parents and staff of the pink bubble last night via tapestry. If you haven’t received a message and your child attends the pink bubble, please could you call the office to let them know.
If you or your family display any of the listed symptoms of Coronavirus, you must feel able to share that information with us; your names will be kept in strict confidence. Communication is key if we are going to be able to keep the bubbles working effectively. We are hoping that this will be the only precautionary bubble closure over the next few weeks, unfortunately, with the nature of the pandemic we cannot guarantee this.
As from this morning pink bubble will be closed to all pupils and staff. We ask that you and your household members stay home until the result is known and we have communicated directly with you on Friday. If anyone in between this time displays symptoms please contact 111 or your GP to order a test. We ask that you let us know immediately so that we can follow our procedures in school too. A reminder that under 5’s can now receive the test too.
If you have any further questions or concerns regarding the precautionary closure of pink bubble, please don’t hesitate to call the office on 01432 273784
