The Vikings weren't only invaders and attackers - they were fantastic voyagers, traders, merchants and explorers, too. We read the biography of Erik the Red who discovered and named the country of Greenland, managing to persuade over 400 brave settlers to set sail for a new life there.
Inspired by his persuasive abilities, we write advertisements describing the many attractions of Greenland to Viking settlers.
