VLE (Virtual Learning Environment)

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have just received notification from the Fusion team who are providing us with our free VLE during the school closure that a failure yesterday has resulted in the loss of data put on the system in the 24 hours between 8am yesterday morning and 8am this morning.

This means that tasks uploaded by staff, responses entered or uploaded by pupils, and grades and feedback given by staff during that time may have been lost.

We appreciate this loss of data is incredibly frustrating for all, but are aware that the VLE, the Fusion team and the internet itself are under incredible pressures from unprecedented demand due to home working. Teaching staff are working very hard to put this right as quickly as possible, and appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.

Pupils should be able to re-submit any photos or Word documents once the homework tasks have been re-created by staff.

We would like to add that we have all been absolutely delighted by the engagement of pupils with home learning, and have been thrilled to see such wonderful learning going on at home. We will continue to provide more online learning opportunities for our pupils after the Easter break.

Your continued patience and engagement with home learning is very much appreciated. Thank you for your continued support.
