St Paul's CofE Primary School

In your light shall we see light

Week beginning: 27th April

Friday 1st May

WARNING - Parents, you may need ear defenders for this activity or do it outside!

Using a musical instrument that you have at home, can you change the sound?

Can you make different sounds?

If you do not have a musical instrument, perhaps you could make a shaker using rice or pasta in a container with a lid.

Thursday 30th April

When I was a child, my favourite bed-time story was 'Peace At Last' by Jill Murphy. I enjoyed using my voice to make the different sound effects such as 'HMMMMMMMMMM went the refrigerator'.

Which story do you like to listen to before you go to sleep?

It would be lovely if you could draw a picture of your favourite story and write a sentence to tell us all about it.

Wednesday 29th April

Have a go at making a parachute following the instructions in the photos below.

You may need to experiment with various lengths of wool, different sized parachutes and also use different plastic people to get the correct effect!

Tuesday 28th April 2020

Today's learning task has been provided by Joe, a regular visitor to school. He often leads our worship on a Tuesday and is a great favourite with the children. Please see the PDF file below for Joe's activities about the Wise and Foolish Builders.

Log on to Tapestry to see Miss H-C singing 'The Wise Man Built His House'.

Monday 27th April

To begin our week in a fun and energetic way, can you choreograph and perform a 10 second dance routine to your favourite song! It could be a solo or family performance!
During the past month, my children have been very patient whilst teaching me different dances routines. It has been lots of fun and we have had many giggles!!
Enjoy!
