At St Paul’s, collective worship is at the heart of school life and reflects the vision that, “in your light we see light”, inspiring everyone to flourish through God’s love.
Worship provides a daily opportunity for the whole school community to come together, reflect, pray and grow spiritually. It supports pupils in understanding themselves, others and the wider world, helping them to “illuminate the goodness in others” and live well together.
Rooted in Christian values such as compassion, endurance and friendship, worship encourages children to think deeply about big questions, develop respect for others and consider how they can make a positive difference in the world.
In line with the school’s commitment to “education for life in all its fullness,” worship nurtures the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of every child, enabling them to flourish as confident, respectful and caring individuals within the school community and beyond.
Worship is inclusive and welcoming, involving staff, pupils and visitors, and often led by children themselves, helping them to take an active role in shaping a loving, reflective and values-driven school community.
