A Random Act of Kindness from Our Special Volunteers
Children from the Volunteer Program, Mrs Bagley, Mrs Millington-Jones, Mrs Jones and Ernie the dog all had a very special morning spreading our love and kindness around our community.
Residents near to the school were given little bunches of daffodils to say Happy Easter and a tag that thanked everyone for supporting us.
The children thoroughly enjoyed talking to local residents and delivering happiness to each door step.
Volunteer Programme
A pupil in 1DG has worked very hard this year to complete the volunteer program. Some of the tasks really encourage children to push themselves and show resilience in situations they may not have been comfortable to try before. We are all so proud of the hard work this pupil has put in, including working in a charity shop, creating Christmas shoe boxes for children less fortunate, dusting, hoovering, making drinks, sending Christmas cards to care homes, cooking dinner, donating to the food bank, litter picking, clearing the leaves for neighbours, and reading a poem to be played in a local church. She has also completed lots of chores around the house to raise money for the St Paul's School in Africa.
