Our Worship Council
Our Worship Council is made up of representatives from each class in the school. We meet regularly to work with Nick to help to plan and deliver worship.
This term we have created 'Values' displays for the entrance to the school, taken part in the Tree Planting ceremony for the Queen's Green Canopy and helped to plan our Easter Services.
This is the prayer we wrote for the Tree Planting Ceremony:
Long ago, the birch tree was said to have ‘eyes’ that watched over travellers on difficult mountain journeys to make sure they would be seen safely home.
Thank you for the birch tree that reminds us that you are watching over us as we journey through life.
Help us to care for and protect each other and reach out to help one another as we journey together to the fullness of life.
Tolerance of those of different Faiths and Beliefs:
Our community is made up of people from a wide range of backgrounds. We aim to promote the understanding and appreciation of different faiths and cultures both within our school and the wider world. We actively promote courtesy and good manners towards all.
