Worship Council
Our Worship Council
The Worship Council has representatives from each class in the school. We meet regularly to work with the vicar of St Paul's Church to plan and deliver worship and to review the spiritual life of our school
In Autumn 2024, we are going to talk about and create more prayer spaces in school - special areas when children can pause to reflect and pray if they wish to.
Last year we wrote a prayer for our Tree Planting Ceremony:
Long ago, the birch tree was said to have ‘eyes’ that watched over travellers on difficult mountain journeys to make sure they would be seen safely home.
Lord Jesus,
Thank you for the birch tree that reminds us that you are watching over us as we journey through life.
Help us to care for and protect each other and reach out to help one another as we journey together to the fullness of life.
Amen
Tolerance of those of different Faiths and Beliefs:
Our community is made up of people from a wide range of backgrounds. We aim to promote the understanding and appreciation of different faiths and cultures both within our school and the wider world. We actively promote courtesy and good manners towards all.
