Uniform
School Uniform Policy Aims and Objectives
School uniform policy is based on the understanding that a school uniform promotes a sense of pride in our school, looks smart and is practical.
Healthy, Practical and Safe
We do not allow children to wear jewellery to school (except for small ear studs and watches). During PE lessons, earrings must be removed or if this is not possible they should be covered with tape/plaster (please note teaching staff are not allowed to administer this or remove earrings).
Long hair must always be tied back.
Hair ties should be navy blue or black.
Children should always have a waterproof coat in school. On sunny days, we ask that children bring a hat and wear sun protection.
Please also ensure your child has a water bottle, which can be refilled at water dispensers in school.
All clothing must be clearly labelled with your child’s name. The school cannot accept responsibility for any lost items.
NB. Rucksacks: If extra bags are required, please be considerate of the size. The cloakroom pegs are very close together, larger bags can make it difficult for children to locate their belongings in a busy area.
